Dear R enthusiasts,
Earlier this year, I launched my first online course: Getting started with R for busy people. The goal of the course is to teach you everything you need, nothing less, nothing more, so that you can start to work on your data with R right away.
The course has been well received so far, but I wanted to make it even better.
After weeks of hard work, I am delighted to announce that the course is now hosted on a new website.
Lessons are now presented in a delightful new theme.
The new theme makes it a lot easier to navigate between lessons.
Once you are enrolled, you can track your progress by marking lessons as completed.
Snippets of R code are easier to read. I can also highlight specific lines of code to help you better understand what is going on.
The new website is more convenient. It is easier to log in. The perks that come with the course are easier to use. For me, the course is a lot easier to update.
I took advantage of moving the course to its new home to update, slightly rewrite, and clarify, multiple lessons. It is not a major rewrite, but it is more than a minor rewrite.
With Getting started with R for busy people, I am offering an online course, an online workshop and a 1-to-1 experience I specifically designed for busy people who want to get started with R.
Getting started with R for busy people is made of 17 lessons. The first four lessons are completely free, so you can see if the course is for you or not.
You can buy access to Getting started with R for busy people in three ways: you can buy access to the lessons, you can book a seat for a session of the online workshop based on the course, or you can book a 1-to-1 with me.
Here is the upcoming schedule of the online workshop:
- In Paris time:
- 23 & 24 November 2023
- 20 & 21 December 2023
- 1 & 2 February 2024
- In Eastern time:
- 30 November & 1 December 2023
- 18 & 19 January 2024
- 15 & 16 February 2024
If you already have access to the course, either by buying access to the lessons or by buying a seat for the online workshop, you will soon receive an email with instructions to move your account to the new website. Migration will be a straightforward process.
I concluded my previous announcement by hinting that more was to come on CodeHub. Giving Getting started with R for busy people a new home was part of this. But I still have a lot more ahead. I am currently working on a complete revamp of my collection of ready-to-use snippets of R code. I am also experimenting with AI. Stay tuned for more to come in the upcoming weeks and months!
